Brandon and I have a challenge for you: Do you know the song "Frosty the Snowman"? Are you sure? Here is our challenge, sing the entire song, beginning to end, each verse, NO MISTAKES! Think it's easy? Try it. By the way, you can't use any help. No coaching, no lyrics, no having just barely listened to the song. If you pause or stumble, you are OUT! What can you win? We are offering a candy cane for everyone who successfully completes this challenge. (To collect your candy cane, come stop by and we will be happy to give it to you.)
How did this challenge come about? Well, it was Monday night and for our family night opening song Brandon picked Frosty the Snowman. I told him we didn't know that song. He looked at me smugly and just shook his head. After all, who DOESN'T know Frosty the Snowman. (If anyone should know it, it should be us. Kameryn watches the movie non-stop. Plus, we are in our 20's and have heard the song every Christmas. That is 20+ years of an annoying Christmas carol. How could you not know the song?) Well guess what, we don't? We started singing and made it about 6 lines in before we started the "da da da da da da da's" That is when it occurred to us. We believe that most people think they know this song, but they don't. Take our challenge, you will see. (By the way, my bet is that the only person who might be able to master this challenge is my mother. Kadon, you're toast. If I were you I wouldn't even bother getting cocky about it, you're so going down! Kiss your 15c cherry flavored candy cane goodbye!)
By the way I totally dominated that challenge. I can't believe that you thought that I couldn't do it. So I really didn't do it perfectly I just can't remember in which order the verses are... actually I'm not even that good. I don't want to talk about it, I don't even like candy canes that much any way. :S
